Tournaments

The Australian Schools Teams Championships will be conducted as four separate round-robin events.We have 8 teams in the Secondary Open and so will have seven rounds, while all the other Championships will have 6 teams and hence just five rounds. In order to accommodate the extra two rounds in the Secondary Open, it has been necessary to reduce the time limit in that event to 45 minutes per player plus 10 seconds extra for every move - all the other events will be at the standard 1 hour + 10 second increment.

Rules

The FIDE laws of chess and the Australian Chess Federation's by-laws for Australian Schools Teams Championships will apply.

Parking is available on the grounds, but please enter through the entrance off Kintyre Rd, - the road inmmediately to the South of the College.

A canteen will be available for lunch and light refreshments.

A free BBQ will be held at Rostrevor on the Saturday evening starting around 6pm.

Time Limits

Secondary Open :		45 minutes + 10 seconds per move (from the beginning)
All other events :		60 minutes + 10 seconds per move (from the beginning)
