Details

2008 Primary Schools Team Competition

When: fortnightly in Terms 2 and 3

Where: Selected venues (see above).

Grades: A, B and C (A is strongest)

Not all games are played on the Friday night (the dates on the calendar are assuming your team is playing on the Friday)

Time Limits:

A Grade - players have 45 minutes each per game.  All games should be finished by 8.30pm.

B and C grades - 30 minutes per player per game.

Forfeit Time: 30 minutes after the start of play.

2008 Secondary School Teams Competition

When: fortnightly on Friday Nights at 7pm in Terms 2 and 3

where: at the Chess Centre

divisions: I, II, III ( I is the strongest)

Time Limits:

Division I - 90 minutes per player per game

Division II and Div III- 2 games per evening- 30 minutes per player per game

For Division II, there will only be 6 nights but with 2 games per night.

Each player has 30 minutes per game

Registration 2008

• Please submit your team registration by Thursday, the 10th of April 2007.

• You will be notified if there is a problem with your registration by email.

• Unfortunately, not all teams may get their venue of choice even if vacancies are shown due to delays in updating the website.  Teams that have sent their details first will be given preference. Successful registration will be confirmed by the successful registration page and an email.
